Her Legacy

Jackie's Closet was built and made possible by Jackie Monies.  One of the strongest people we will ever have the pleasure of knowing.  Jackie was known for her giving heart, her friendly nature, and always having a couple of chairs to sit and talk about anything and everything.  She always had time for a friendly chat.  Jackie also loved the huskies.  Spending time at Husky Halfway House, helping to make T-shirts, brushing a husky or 10, putting our keychains together.  Whatever we needed Jackie would find the time to help.  While she was at the rescue we all learned about her amazing life, her love of animals, and giving to those that can't ask for help.  Her heart was huge and she loved just as big.   She donated her entire 5000 square foot store to Husky Halfway House when she was evicted while she was in the hospital with a broken leg.  Those items as well as other items that have been donated by our supporters are available here.
